Bæjarins Bestu Pylsur

The authentic and most popular food to eat when visiting iceland — the hot dog! Luckily, it’s located juuuust in front of Kolaportið, the festival venue! Get one with all of the toppings or as we call it, eina með öllu and a soft drink to go with it. 🌭

Maikai

Located around 20 meters from the festival venue, Maikai serves the best Açai bowls and great coffee to go with it.

Joe and the Juice

Joe and the Juice is located at Hafnartorg, close to the festival venue. Sandwich and a smoothie — what could possibly go wrong?

Restaurants for dinner

Sumac

This amazing restaurant in downtown Reykjavík is inspired by the nostalgic atmosphere of the city of Beirut. Sumac is a place where locals and visitors can enjoy delicious Middle Eastern Cuisine and handcrafted Mediterranean cocktails 🍹

Hosiló

Hosiló is a small exclusive restaurant in the heart of Reykjavík with a seasonal menu you do not want to miss, but be sure to book your table 🥕

OTO

OTO offers a menu that is inspired by the flavors of Japan and Italy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively and energetic, making it a popular spot for a night out with friends 🍣

Skál! is the perfect dinner destination 🥂 Food made from Icelandic ingredients, natural wines and craft beers 🍺 — and they’ve also receiveed a Bib Gourmand award from Michelin

We especially recommend the lunch special at La Primavera in the Marshall house!

Then you can enjoy some art upstairs in Nýló, the art museum 🎨

On the haunt for the perfect place for the first cup of coffee? Kaffi Ó-le is the perfect place, a cozy spot with great coffee and pastries located right next to Kolaportið (the main festival venue) ☕

Systrasamlagið

Systrasamlagið is the perfect place to get a great cup of coffee, breakfast and some peace and quiet 😌

Tíu sopar

Tíu Sopar is the best place to go for great wine and amazing cheese 🧀

If you are into a challenge, Esjan is a fun and challenging hike close to Reykjavík 🚶🏻
