OK,BYE IS A CLIMATE THEATRE

Where TEDx meets Broadway and food meets disruption. For the first time, Ok, bye will be a full-blown evening performance, a gala dedicated to The Future of Food. From lab-grown delights to culinary tech and food-as-art, this year’s show celebrates science, taste, and imagination on one delicious stage. Bring your appetite for change and maybe dessert.

We invite you to Iceland, where bold ideas are simmered, stirred, and seasoned in a creative kitchen of collaboration. At this year’s Ok, bye, we’ll trade lab coats for aprons and dive headfirst into the Future of Food exploring how technology, culture, and climate shape what we eat, how we grow it, and who gets a seat at the table.

The aim of the event is to spotlight the most groundbreaking food and climate innovations from around the globe and to position Iceland as a hub for creative solutions and knowledge sharing. Together, we’ll taste the future — amplifying ideas that nourish both people and planet.

The name Ok, bye honors Ok-jökull, the first Icelandic glacier lost to climate change. Once spanning 16 square kilometers, it has melted into a fraction of its former glory, no longer a glacier but a stark reminder of what’s at stake.

Thanks, global warming.
