Innovation Waves is a workshop where the main focus is on introducing, discussing and developing different ideas in the Icelandic music scene. The aim is to encourage everyone that works in the music scene to use their creative thinking in their work and discover solutions with interdisciplinary cooperation and support from specialists. Participants will be a part of a workshop that encourages creative thinking and they will get the support needed for their ideas/projects.

Experts in the fields will be involved as mentors, both from the music- and innovation scene.

Goals:

• Bring the Icelandic music industry to a higher professional level

• Foster entrepreneurs within the music industry

• Give attendees the tools needed to increase their business opportunities and income

• Get better, more, and stronger businesses within the music industry

• Strengthen the business ecosystem for musicians
